    Description
    This is a new Bridge City Tool Works CT-1 tool called a Squevel.  The name Squevel is a hybrid of “square” and “bevel”.  The Squevel is the 1993 Commemorative Tool # 1 and is from the limited edition run of squares.  The
    tool number 14-R comes in the original box with a
    Bridge City letter
    and Certificate of Authenticity.
    The
    Squevel is
    a work of art and was beautifully crafted by
    Bridge Cities toolmakers from solid brass, rosewood and hardened satin steel.  It
    is signed by the president and founder of Bridge City.  The tool has been stored for 28 years in a
    smoke and pet free home.  The
    Squevel
    is 6-1/2” long, weighs 1 pound and has a lifetime guarantee.

    The tool was designed by me in 1992.  The inspiration for the tool came from a similar tool found in the mid 1800’s.  The design of the Squevel is uniquely mine and is patented.  I have embedded a 1992 penny in this tool.  Bring the tool up close to your ear and give it a shake.  You will detect a faint rattle.  May the penny always remind you of the good deed you did in helping a struggling company.  Each time the penny rattles, consider it a “thank you” from all of us at
    Bridge City Tool Works.  The Squevel will not be made again.  They will become collector’s items over time.
